Our Read
The award matters because of what Globe's board is governing. With debt larger than the entire market cap, the equity is a leveraged claim on capital allocation, and five straight top-tier scores support the case that this balance sheet is run with discipline. Faster LGU permitting, which Globe ties directly to its network expansion rate, should yield more sites per peso of capex. A share price near the low reflects concern about leverage, and it does not yet credit that execution.
Vini Research Desk rates GLO a Buy, seeing about 64% upside to our fair value of ₱2503.00. Disciplined stewardship of a heavily levered balance sheet supports future dividend growth and capital appreciation, which benefits holders of the Passive Income Plan and Smart Momentum Quant Plan.
