A plan for aggressive investors
Built to catch and ride the strongest trends.
A quantitative model measures every liquid stock on the exchange by how strongly and how steadily it is trending, holds the leaders in proportion to that strength, and replaces the ones that fade. Expect big swings both ways.

The plan is tracked daily from a model account and serves as a guide. Your own portfolio may be higher or lower because of when you joined and the prices your orders filled at. Past performance does not guarantee future results.

Allocation by sector
Target weights for each stock are shown inside the account.
It is systematic in choosing stocks and is sector agnostic.
The Smart Momentum Quant plan is built around one observation: stocks with the strongest, most consistent trends tend to keep trending. Using a statistical method that measures both the direction and the consistency of a stock’s price movement, the model ranks every eligible stock by trend strength. The result is a portfolio that systematically stays positioned in the market’s current leaders.
To everyone interested in this plan: firstly, thank you for putting your trust in the model. It took years of researching, building, succeeding, failing and iterating to get it to where it is today. Secondly, we value transparency. We do not want investors putting money into a black box, so we lay the model out in a way that is easy to understand, without giving away its parameters.
As the model’s creator, and its first investor, I am glad to have you join me in this never-ending journey of learning, improving and, with luck, outsized growth.

Investors who:
It is not designed to track the index but instead concentrates money in the market’s strongest trends, so expect high volatility. If dividend income is the priority, the Passive Income plan is the better fit.
The model ranks every eligible stock by trend strength, using a statistical measure that captures both the direction and the consistency of price movement. Every quarter it selects the top-ranked stocks and allocates money in proportion, so the strongest, most persistent trends get the largest positions. When a stock loses its momentum and drops out of the ranking, the next strongest trend replaces it.
The model does not try to predict which stocks will outperform. It measures which ones already are, and commits money accordingly.
The plan is designed to be nearly fully invested at all times. In a downturn it does not move to cash. It keeps holding the highest-ranked stocks by trend strength, so it will see drawdowns in a broad selloff.
The quarterly re-ranking rotates out of stocks that have lost momentum, which helps the portfolio recover as conditions improve. The plan puts long-term growth and discipline ahead of short-term capital preservation, and suits people with a multi-year horizon who can sit through volatility.
Growth-oriented investors who prefer a systematic, data-driven approach. It suits people who are comfortable with a concentrated portfolio that changes every quarter, who understand that higher potential returns come with higher volatility, and who can leave the money in for years. It is not for anyone who wants steady income, capital preservation, or a portfolio that tracks the market.
Because the plan stays nearly fully invested in a concentrated portfolio, drawdowns can be significant in a broad market decline. A drawdown is the fall from a portfolio’s peak to its lowest point before it recovers. Falls of that size are uncomfortable, and they are characteristic of concentrated, growth-oriented strategies.
The quarterly re-ranking helps the portfolio recover by rotating into the strongest available trends. The plan’s long-term result comes from staying disciplined through those periods, not from avoiding them.
