Highlights
- ₱16.50 per WEB share is now an executed purchase price, not merely an agreed transaction term.
- ₱335,695,783.50 in first-closing proceeds gives WEB fresh capital from JKS Tech Solutions.
The Setup
Following the agreement covered in our prior note, WEB sold 20,345,199 treasury shares to JKS through a PSE block sale on September 15. The full acquisition covers 81,380,792 shares for ₱1,342,783,068, representing approximately 4.85% of WEB’s issued and outstanding shares. JKS supplies B2B technology, platforms and digital infrastructure to licensed mid-market digital-entertainment operators. WEB has rallied 297.3% from its 52-week low of ₱3.65 on November 5, 2025. Our momentum read on WEB is Bullish.

Our Read
The executed ₱16.50 price for WEB’s own listed shares exceeds the current ₱14.50 market quote, giving investors a concrete buyer-backed valuation reference, but not a guaranteed trading floor. At a ₱23.20 billion market capitalization, we view the closing as funding progress rather than an earnings re-rating: treasury-share sales bring cash into WEB while diluting existing holders, without themselves creating operating profit.
For holders, the investment case now depends on WEB deploying that cash at returns sufficient to offset the enlarged share base, rather than treating the buyer’s purchase price as an automatic destination for the stock. The added funding capacity supports investment in future growth and potential capital appreciation, benefiting holders of the Smart Momentum Quant Plan.
What We're Watching
- Second closing of the remaining 61,035,593 shares for ₱1,007,087,284.50
